Bakgrunn
Barbara Rebecca Mutonyi er førsteamanuensis i innovasjon ved Kristiania og underviser i emner relatert til innovasjon, entreprenørskap og kreativitet.
Mutonyi har publisert artikler innenfor fagfeltene innovativt atferd, offentlige organisasjoner og dens ansatte, organisasjonsklima og ledelsestiler. Mutonyi har publisert artikler i anerkjente tidskrifter, både nasjonalt og internasjonalt.
Mutonyis forskning omhandler hovedsakelig temaer innenfor innovasjon blant ansatte.
I 2023 mottok Mutonyi ISPIM Innovation Management Dissertation Award for PhD avhandlingen.
I 2021 mottok Mutonyi Emerald Awards Literati pris for «Outstanding Paper» for en vitenskapelig artikkel med tittelen: "Empowering Leadership, work group cohesiveness, individual learning orientation and individual innovative behavior in the public sector: Empirical evidence from Norway."
