New technology is constantly being developed, and the field of Human-Computer Interaction is in constant development. On this course, you will gain advanced knowledge of the development and design of user interfaces that will benefit consumers, companies and societies.
In addition, you gain a breadth of knowledge concerning technology and the opportunities and challenges that arise when it is exploited.
You will learn about the entire development process from prototype to finished product, with an extra focus on the user perspective and interface. The goal is to make you an attractive candidate in an exciting job market that is characterised strongly by innovation and invention.

In order to develop positive user experiences, it is important to understand both the technology and the people who use it, and how the interaction between humans and technology works in the best way possible.
Therefore, during your time on the course with us, you will receive a thorough introduction to:

Most of the modules are built around practical tasks where you get to play with technology and design, and there is a great deal of variation from subject to subject.
There is also a great deal of interaction between fellow students, researchers and lecturers, and we regularly have guest lecturers from Copenhagen and London, among others, who teach and bring knowledge and experiences from their own work environments. New technology and time-critical research are key to everything we do.
Human-Computer Interaction is an area where there is going to be a lot of demand for expertise in the future. If you are willing to work hard for positive results, a degree within this field will provide extremely good and exciting career opportunities.
