FOSFOR is an academic community consisting of researchers with backgrounds in graphic design, interaction design, illustration, service design, and art direction. Several members work with transdisciplinary processes.

The purpose of the group is to enhance the research quality of its members. The members meet monthly to present and discuss ongoing work. These meetings provide a platform for constructive critique, academic dialogue, and knowledge sharing. It serves as a space for professional development and disciplinary growth.

The members’ diverse projects explore various aspects of the design and art fields. By employing different methodological and critical perspectives, the group works to highlight a range of techniques and craftsmanship. This work takes place both within and beyond Kristiania, contributing to a deeper understanding of practical design and artistic practice.

Tora Norberg

Norberg is a University Lecturer at Kristiania University of Applied Sciences, where she teaches visual grammar and visual communication. She leads the research group FOSFOR.
