Margaret Rynning is associate professor of graphic design at Westerdals Department of Communication and Design, Kristiania University College. She is trained as graphic designer and has been working as a designer for more than 20 years in Oslo, Norway, mainly focusing on visual identity and graphic communication.
Rynning’s research interests are related to identity design within critical design, exploring visual concepts communicating social and political issues. Another area of interest is Nordic design and regional culture. The research is published internationally through journals, conferences and workshops.
