Ordering articles
Articles that the library has access to can be searched for in Oria (library catalogue).
The library subscribes to a number of periodicals in full text (available for download). If you have found an article that you don't have access to, you can order a copy through the library. Ordering articles is limited to academic literature relevant to the studies. Read more in the library rules about periodicals databases and ordering copies.
You must log in to Oria in order to make an order.
First check if the article is available through the library. Select "Kristiania University College" in the drop-down menu to the left of the search box, and search for the article. If you do not get a match, select "Norwegian academic libraries".
Under "Find and order," click "Order an item/order copy".
If you are not logged in, you will have the option to log in in this window.
The order form is filled in automatically, but remember to press the “Order document” button.
If you cannot find the article under “Norwegian academic library”, send an email with the title, author, year of publication and journal to biblioteket@kristiania.no
You may change the pick-up location, this is done in the student web. Students must collect the article physically in the library and will be notified by SMS and email when it can be picked up.
Employees receive the article sent by internal post.
