Tools and Resources

With the tools listed below, employees and students can use AI securely in their web browser while ensuring privacy and data protection. The services do not store data between sessions. This means, among other things, that users are anonymized and no personal data is stored or processed. The data is not used to train the underlying language model, and as a student, your conversation history is accessible only to you. Sign in using either Feide or your work account.

Q&A AI

Information generated by generative artificial intelligence (AI), such as Sikt KI and Copilot, is not a source. These programs are tools designed to generate and reproduce text based on the information on which they have been trained.

However, there are situations where it may be appropriate to use information generated by AI and cite it as if it were a source. In such cases, you should provide citations in accordance with the rules of the reference style you are using.

If you do so, you are responsible for ensuring that the information you present is accurate. Apply sound source criticism, be aware of fabricated references, and keep in mind that it can be difficult to trace the original source when using generative AI.

A language model does not know the difference between true and false information. Instead, it generates responses based on the probability that a particular answer is appropriate or likely to follow from the input it receives.
