Kari Spjeldnæs is a Ph.D. Candidate at Kristiania University College/University of Bergen, working on a thesis to explore changes in reading practices and consequences of digitalization for the publishing industry.

Spjeldnæs is a member of the research project “Intrusive media, ambivalent users, and digital detox” (Digital disconnection). Spjeldnæs holds a Master of Literature and has broad literary, commercial and leadership experience from working more than thirty years in Norwegian publishing.
