Background
Anne Cecilie Røsjø Kvammen is a senior lecturer in singing at Kristiania University College and teaches singing, vocal technique and bachelor's thesis supervision at the Department of Performing Arts.
Kvammen has initiated research and development projects aimed at mapping teaching methods in musical theatre, with a special focus on singing and dance instruction. Together with Johanne K. Hagen she has published articles on the topic and carried out several research projects, supported by CEMPE at the Norwegian Academy of Music.
In these projects they have used the Alexander Technique to establish a shared methodological platform for the singing and dance subjects in musical theatre.
