Arrangements for Internationalisation

The Master’s programme in Communication and Leadership includes arrangements that place the field within an international context, exposing students to a diversity of perspectives throughout their studies. These arrangements may include various activities such as the use of international literature, guest lectures by international experts, incoming exchange students, or participation in international conferences or workshops abroad (this list is not exhaustive).

The academic environment within the programme has a strong international profile. Several faculty members have completed parts or all of their education at foreign universities and have extensive professional experience abroad. The academic staff maintain an active international network, with collaborations at educational institutions across Europe and participation in international research projects.

International Student Exchange

For the Master’s programme in Communication and Leadership exchange opportunities are available in the third semester. Kristiania has agreements with several international partner institutions, allowing students to complete part of their studies abroad.

To be eligible for exchange, students must be enrolled in a degree-awarding programme and have completed a minimum of 60 ECTS credits at Kristiania by the time of departure. For both campus-based and online programmes, the exchange takes place on location at the host institution.

In most cases, eligibility for student exchange requires normal study progression, satisfactory grades, and a motivation letter. Additional documentation, such as a creative portfolio, may also be required, and Kristiania may conduct interviews with applicants. Please note that the number of exchange places at partner institutions is limited.
