This interdisciplinary work combines technological innovation, sustainability, and efficiency with the goal of developing the supply and value chains of the future.

In the area of technology, research topics include:

  • How ERP systems can be integrated to increase organizational efficiency

  • How blockchain technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) can improve supply chains

In the transport sector, research focuses on:

  • The efficiency of Norwegian container ports

  • Energy efficiency in shipping
