Application for recognition of external courses in StudentWeb
If you have education from other higher education institutions, you may apply for recognition of external courses in StudentWeb. Submit the application in accordance with specified deadlines, see the following web page for more information.
The application will be processed and academically assessed when the required documentation is uploaded. Applications without the required documentation will not be processed.
Exemption for courses will not reduce the study fee, but the student may apply for alternative courses in other study programmes during the study period. If the application for recognition of external courses is rejected, the course must be completed. Report to Lånekassen (the Norwegian State Educational Loan Fund) if the application is granted and you get exemption for courses as this may affect the student loan. How to apply:
- Log in to StudentWeb
- Click “More…” in the meny at the top
- Choose “Applications”, and “Recognition of external courses or part of programmes”
- Fill in the application form as described below:
- All fields must be filled in
- Upload documentation – course descriptions and transcript of records
- Submit the application by clicking “Finalize”
