Background

Ahmet Soylu is the dean of School of Doctoral Studies and a professor of computer science at Kristiania University of Applied Sciences. He also have an adjunct position at University of Oslo – UiO. Earlier Soylu worked as a full professor of computer science and head of group for Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Sustainability at OsloMet – Oslo Metropolitan University and as a full professor at Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNU. He was previously a senior scientist at SINTEF Digital, a senior engineer at DNV, a postdoctoral research fellow at University of Oslo – UiO, and a visiting researcher at University of Oxford. Soylu received his PhD degree in computer science in 2012 from University of Leuven. His main research interests fall into ontology-driven information systems and ontology-driven design of information systems from a human-computer interaction perspective.
