Elin Bolann is Associate Professor at Kristiania University College’s Department of Marketing. She holds a PhD in destination branding from Norwegian School of Economics, an MBA from the United States and a BSc in Tourism Management from the Univeristy of Bergen and Lillehammer Regional College.

Elin has initiated and succeeded receiving research funding from the business world as well as from the Norwegian Research Council, raising a total of 8,7 mNOK for the place branding project «Allianse Vest».

Her research interests are within adventure tourism (consumer behavior and marketing) and destination branding.
