Background

Carina Johansson Nyvoll is an assistant professor, responsible for work-integrated learning in practice for bachelor’s students at Kristiania University College, and she also teaches courses such as sales psychology and customer experience, team development, and competence management.

She has extensive experience in both strategic and operational sales and marketing management, nationally and internationally. Nyvoll holds a degree in business administration from the Stockholm School of Economics and an MBA from McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

Throughout her career, she has led several sales and service organizations through change, with a particular emphasis on business development and continuous improvement. She also has experience as a management consultant and is a trained coach, certified recruiter, and holds a black belt in LEAN methodology.

In her role as an academic, educator, and researcher, she is committed to people, learning, and development, and to creating psychologically safe learning environments that promote mastery and work-life relevance. She is passionate about building bridges between academia and industry, enabling students to acquire competencies that are directly applicable in working life.
