Background
Ester Conings Vanvik is an Assistant Professor in Strategic Communication and a PhD researcher at Lund University. Her research explores how organizations communicate and navigate change in the face of paradoxes, competing demands, and tensions, with a particular interest in communication during complex transitions.
Ester holds master’s degrees in audiovisual arts, marketing and advertising, and an Executive MBA from Belgium. She has more than 25 years of experience in the media, communication, and advertising industries in Norway and Belgium, working as a project manager, manager, and consultant. She also works as a strategic advisor in brand strategy, advertising, and corporate communication.
She is particularly interested in how strategic communication shapes organizational change.
