Library Course: Zotero and Referencing
Confused about citations and references? Want an easy way to keep track of your sources? Learn how to use Zotero from the start and make managing references simple and stress-free.
Zotero is a reference management tool that makes it easier to organize your references, collaborate with others on group assignments, and cite sources in the correct style while you write.
After completing this course, you will have learned:
- Why and when you should cite your sources
- An overview of the Chicago and APA 7 referencing styles
- How to use secondary citations
- How to install and get started with Zotero
- How to use Zotero in your text editor (Word or Google Docs)
- How to easily import sources and create references in Zotero
- How to create Zotero groups for collaborative work and group assignments
The course will be held on campus in Oslo and online for students in Bergen and online students.
