We are delighted to announce the return of Kristiania’s artistic research symposium. The 8th annual AR@K symposium will span two days with international participants exploring this year’s topic of Reclaiming art! Creative expression as a building block in our social foundations.

“Artistic Research at Kristiania" - AR@K - is an annual, cross-disciplinary, international symposium for artistic research hosted by Kristiania University of Applied Sciences in Oslo.
The topic for AR@K26 is Reclaiming art! Creative expression as a building block in our social foundations.
The 2026 edition is organized in collaboration with Atelier Nord, Oslo’s leading venue for mediabased art.
