The program is structured with a clear academic progression to ensure that students develop knowledge and skills step by step throughout their studies.

The first year (semesters 1 and 2) provides students with a fundamental understanding of logistics and procurement as key functions within the supply chain. The courses introduce how material flow, inventory management, transportation, and sourcing contribute to efficient operations and value creation in organizations. In addition, students develop digital skills and are introduced to project management, organization and leadership, as well as ethics, corporate responsibility, and sustainability.

The second year (semesters 3 and 4) builds on this with deeper focus on strategy, macro- and microeconomics. Furthermore, the students will have the opportunity to specialize through electives, optional courses, or internships. There is also an opportunity for exchange during this period, offering an international perspective.

The third year (semesters 5 and 6) has a global and advanced focus with subjects such as applied logistics and negotiation, global supply chain management, and the bachelor’s thesis. This is where the threads from previous semesters come together, and students learn to apply their knowledge in complex and international contexts. The progression reflects a holistic journey from foundational to advanced level, with emphasis on practical application, critical thinking, sustainability, and digitalization.

Courses – Year 1

Logistics and Procurement: This course provides an introduction to key concepts and processes in logistics management and procurement, including inventory control, forecasting, transportation, supplier collaboration, and digitalization. Students learn how logistics and procurement contribute to efficiency and competitiveness in the supply chain.
Digital Technology: The aim of the course is to give students a basic understanding of digital technologies needed in today’s workforce. Students learn to use digital tools and technologies effectively, assess and implement digital solutions in various contexts, develop skills in digital communication and collaboration, and reflect on ethical and societal aspects of digital technology.
Project Management: This course provides a holistic understanding and basic skills in project work. Upon completion, students can use project methodology to solve different tasks by identifying and formulating problems, initiating and planning projects, and applying management tools to ensure project success.
Supply Chain Management: The course helps students understand how entire supply chains are planned and managed, with focus on strategies like lean and agile, as well as global processes and network optimization.
Ethics, Social Responsibility, and Sustainability: This course provides a basic introduction to ethical theories, corporate responsibility, and sustainability. Students learn to identify and discuss ethical dilemmas, reflect on their professional role, and understand how businesses impact society and the environment. Theory and empirical data are combined in a project assignment.
Organization and Management: This course provides insights into how organizations are structured and operate, including topics such as organizational structure, culture, leadership, power, and change. Students learn to analyze organizational issues and propose measures to promote efficiency, learning, and innovation.

Courses – Year 2

Strategic Management: An introduction to strategic thinking, including external and internal analyses, decision-making processes, implementation, and evaluation in organizations.
Managerial Economics: A broad introduction to business financial management, including accounting, financial control, finance, and corporate strategy. Students learn to conduct basic economic analyses and understand how financial data informs profitable and sustainable business decisions.
Macroeconomics: An introduction to how the economy functions at both micro and macro levels, including market theory, national accounting, economic growth, trade, and policy. Students learn to analyze economic issues and understand how economic changes affect businesses and society.
Elective course and Problem Solving in TEAM, or exchange/internship: In the fourth semester, students in the Bachelor of Supply Chain Management and Logistics program choose electives amounting to 15 ECTS. Courses – Year 3

Applied Logistics and Negotiation: This course offers practical knowledge of logistics operations and transport, including regulations, Incoterms, sustainability, documentation, and negotiations in national and international contexts.
Research Methods: An introduction to key qualitative and quantitative research methods, with emphasis on developing research questions, data collection, analysis, and research ethics. Students learn to apply scientific methods in both academic and practical contexts.
Global Supply Chain Management: Focuses on managing global supply chains, risk analysis, sustainability, digital transformation, and how international conditions influence value chains.
Bachelor’s Thesis (15 ECTS – conducted in semester 6): In this final assignment, students explore a self-chosen topic within their bachelor’s program. The goal is to demonstrate the ability to apply relevant theory and methods to a disciplinary problem and develop solutions or decision support. The work showcases skills in data analysis and interpretation, theoretical reflection, and structured academic writing. Emphasis is placed on scientific approach, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate in diverse groups.
