This is a mandatory course on the 90 credit executive master in leadership.

The course serve to give a common platform and direction for the total program: That leadership should be understood, and conducted, as a professional practice. Instead of ideal models of what leaders ought to do, the premise is that leadership is shaped through everyday actions. On an operational, strategic and personal level. It is the process to lead which is given attention, the interaction process between people, and not so much leaders themselves. For leaders this will mean to be aware of own leadership practice. This in addition to be conscious about the organizational practice they are part of. It is not one best practice, but many. Depending on the leader, relationships and context. The course is designed to be challenging and connected to realities experienced by leaders. By taken the course, the student will be given a chance to work with their own leadership style and practice on an operational, strategic and personal level.

How to be a strategist and do strategy in organizations.
How to do everyday operations, as well finding the balance between change and stability.

How to lead oneself?
Who becomes leaders and how to learn to lead
How to create own leadership practice.
