KAI centre
Kristiania AI Centre (KAI Centre) is a cross-school initiative and connects expertise from technology, health, communication, leadership, and the arts to advance responsible, applied, and interdisciplinary approaches to AI. KAI serves as a shared platform for researchers, students, industry partners, and the wider public, grounded in academic and artistic research.
KAI approaches artificial intelligence as a socio-technical field shaped by institutional, political, and cultural conditions, as well as by technical design choices. The centre is committed to research on trustworthy AI, including questions of governance, accountability, labour, and public impact, and supports dialogue between academic research, policy, and civil society.
KAI welcomes collaboration with local and international research initiatives, working at the intersection of AI, society, and the public interest.
