Create a Learning Agreement

How to get your courses approved for your exchange programme.

Your programme director at Kristiania is responsible for the preliminary approval of your courses. They ensure that there is no overlap in content between the courses you take abroad and those in your home programme, that the courses have the correct scope and academic level, and that they can therefore be recognised as part of your degree at Kristiania.

Erasmus Students

You will enter into a Learning Agreement between yourself, Kristiania, and the institution you will be attending. It is the study programme leader at your home institution who pre-approves the courses and ensures that there is no overlap between the courses abroad and at home, and that you receive approval for the courses as part of your degree at Kristiania. If there are any changes, go straight to "Changes to the OLA." If you have questions after reading, please contact the International Team.

For exchanges to, among others, the United Kingdom, you will receive a specific Learning Agreement with much of the same content as the OLA. You should send this to utveksling@kristiania.no.

Exchange Outside Europe

If you are going on a bilateral or “study abroad” agreement, you choose courses at the partner institution—often from a database of previously approved courses for your study programme. These course selections are entered into a Nettskjema form (your Learning Agreement), and you will receive a link to this form in the nomination email from the International Team at Kristiania.
