Background

Madeleine Lyngmo Johansen is a PhD fellow at Kristiania University College, affiliated with the research group PULL. She is a licensed physiotherapist with several years of clinical experience in rehabilitation and habilitation. She holds a Master’s degree in (re)habilitation from OsloMet, where she wrote her master’s thesis on the content validity of the Female Sexual Function Index for women with provoked vestibulodynia.

Her doctoral project focuses on women’s health and migration health, investigating the effects of pain education, physical activity, and pelvic floor muscle training on chronic pelvic pain (CPP), quality of life, and health literacy among Somali women in Norway.
