Background
Jaya Ojha is a PhD candidate in Applied Information Technology at Kristiania University of Applied Sciences. Her research focuses on trustworthy AI, with particular emphasis on ECG analysis, explainable machine learning, and AI applications in mental health and healthcare.
Ojha holds a Master’s degree in Applied Computer and Information Technology (Data Science) from Oslo Metropolitan University, where her thesis examined ECG data classification and explainability using machine learning and deep learning methods. She has published several peer-reviewed papers on interpretable AI for ECG analysis, trustworthiness of AI in healthcare, and explainable deep learning for EEG analysis, and is involved in ongoing work on quantitative explainable AI in cardiology connecting to mental health and safe use of large language models in healthcare.
Her research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning, time-series and image analysis, and explainable AI.
