Background
Dr. Anthony Giannoumis is an Associate Professor of Information Technology at Kristiania University College. His work focuses on information systems, digital accessibility, and the design and implementation of technology in health and public sector contexts. He has led and contributed to a wide range of international research projects on ICT accessibility, assistive technology, and digital infrastructure, with funding from the European Union, the Norwegian Research Council, and global partners.
Dr. Giannoumis has secured over 13 million Euros in research and innovation funding and has extensive experience working at the intersection of technology, accessibility, and health. His research explores how digital systems and platforms can be designed to improve participation, usability, and equity across diverse populations.
