Frode Thorjussen

Frode Thorjussen is Head of the Department of Performing Arts, Film and Media. He has a versatile background with extensive leadership experience from both academia and the public sector. In his previous position as Department Director in Bydel Søndre Norstrand, he helped establish OsloMet Holmlia as a separate satellite in the district. He has worked with diversity recruitment and development of the practice field for kindergartens. In his artistic activities, he is an active musician with the trumpet as his main instrument. In the project Becoming Music, he explores the countless possibilities of improvisation in collaboration with the Swedish video artist Sandra Berg Mozard.
