Background

Siv Eberholst is a senior lecturer in Film and Television and an employee at the Department of Performing Arts, Film and Media at the School of Arts, Design and Media.

Eberholst has worked as a film editor on feature films, television series, short films and documentaries, and with her background has been responsible for teaching film editing for the last 13 years. With a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Norwegian Film School and Practical Pedagogy from the University of Oslo, she has also studied Project and process management.

In addition to her professional focus on film editing, film narration and dramaturgy, she has Feedback methods in creative processes as a field of interest. As part of her work in this field, she has developed a Toolbox with feedback methods in the PRISMA research group and the Feedback Research Group. Furthermore, she has led IMPACT 3 – a feedback workshop for the fields of Film and Television, Visual Effects, Game Design, 3D Graphics, Scriptwriting and Sound Design.

With a commitment to students and their path into the industry, she has been a contributor to Kristiania's online course called "Get ready for the workforce". Eberholst has also taught Higher professional degree students in Film at Kristiania University College and at the Norwegian Film School.
