The themes of this course are fashion, design and social trends analysis and forecasting. By the end of the course the student should be able to understand different theories of diffusion of innovation and use them in their practical projects. The understanding of the trends will be used to develop retail strategies and solutions. The course takes a global view of markets.

Grading scale: Norwegian grading system using the graded scale A - F where A is the best grade, E is the lowest pass grade and F is fail

The course is a mandatory course at Retail Design. The course will be held in English, and the students will fulfil all requirements and presentations in English. The final project will be an individual written assignment in English.
